Mediwhale is a pioneering AI healthcare startup focusing on predicting cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease (CVRM) risks using retinal biomarkers. The eye is the only organ where blood vessels are directly visible without invasive procedures, which is our key to unlocking unprecedented insights into human health.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clinical and medical inquiries regarding the company’s AI-SaMD products, providing in-depth responses to clinical and scientific questions from external stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate communication of product and clinical data, and support the creation and review of educational materials and presentations for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other stakeholders.
  • Lead internal training sessions for teams (sales, marketing, etc.) on the scientific and clinical aspects of the products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and researchers to facilitate scientific exchange and gather valuable feedback.
  • Provide input to the product development team, ensuring that feedback from external stakeholders is integrated into the ongoing product pipeline.
  • Support IITs by providing scientific and operational assistance, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory standards. Manage proposals, monitor progress, and assist with IRB submissions to ensure ethical and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical affairs, MSL, or related fields in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Education: Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field.
  • Strong background in medical communications, and scientific presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Fluent in English and Korean. Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in healthcare.
  • Experience in the medical device industry, particularly in AI-driven products or software.
