At this exciting juncture, we are shaping a hyper-scale data and AI platform that makes this revolutionary vision possible. We invite a skilled Data Engineer to join our vibrant team, play a pivotal role in our novel initiatives, and develop alongside us. This position reports directly to the CTO as a member of the AI Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage data infrastructure including data lakes, warehouses, and databases to harness the extensive medical data resources
  • Develop complex ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration processes using Airflow
  • Craft and optimize data analytics tools using Streamlit to drive business insights and decision-making across the organization
  • Lead the design and deployment of data systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Collaborate closely with our data scientists and ML engineers to ensure seamless data flow for AI solutions

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data/ML/software engineering
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration using tools such as Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Proficiency in Git and Github for version control and collaboration
  • Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose for software containerization and orchestration
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI/ML
  • Experience with statistics/data analysis
  • Experience with image processing/computer vision
  • Experience with medical/healthcare data
