About us:
Mediwhale is an AI healthcare company that predicts cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease (CVRM) risks using retinal biomarkers. The eye is the only organ where blood vessels can be observed directly and non-invasively, without any procedure, offering critical insights into overall health.
Mediwhale provides retinal AI solutions that detect future disease risks early. Our world-first retina-based disease prediction technology has received medical device approval in Europe and more than eight other countries, and became the first in Korea to be designated as a statutory non-reimbursable test available in outpatient settings.
Mediwhale helps people in clinical settings around the world know their disease risks in advance and prevent them. To bring these benefits to more people, we are accelerating our global expansion. Mediwhale recently closed a KRW 20 billion Series C round, and we are building on it to expand globally and commercialize our technology, including entering the U.S. market through the FDA. As we grow, we are hiring two CEO Office Interns to carry out company-wide strategic initiatives.

The CEO Office reports directly to the CEO and handles company-wide strategy, new business review, IPO preparation, and cross-functional projects. Because this position does not belong to any single division, you will take on initiatives that require company-wide execution and see them through to completion. You will own each initiative, receive daily coaching from the CEO Office Lead (a former MBB consultant), and have the chance to work on the CEO’s agenda items and report directly to the CEO. Your deliverables will be shared across the company and used by each division. This is an intern-to-hire position: your actual deliverables and organizational fit during the internship will be reviewed to decide on conversion to a full-time Associate. After conversion, you may also have the chance to move to other teams, building on the company-wide perspective gained in the CEO Office. This position reports to the CEO Office Lead.
