Mediwhale is an AI healthcare company that predicts risks of cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic (CVRM) diseases using retinal biomarkers. The eye is the only organ that allows direct, non-invasive observation of blood vessels, providing essential insights into systemic health. Mediwhale offers retinal-based AI solutions that assess future health risks. The company obtained Korean medical device approval in August 2022 and has been available for non-reimbursed prescriptions in medical institutions since June 2023.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between doctors and patients and accelerate the transition toward personalized and sustainable healthcare. To realize this vision, Mediwhale is seeking an IR Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- IR Communication & Investor Relations
- Plan and execute IR storylines aligned with each stage of the technical IPO process (Pre-IPO → Technical Evaluation → Preliminary Review → Roadshow) •
- Organize and lead IR meetings, NDRs, conferences, and roadshows for domestic and global VCs, institutions, and analysts
- Develop and refine bilingual (Korean/English) IR materials such as IR decks, fact sheets, quarterly reports, and FAQs
- Coordinate Q&A with analysts and key investors on technology, clinical, regulatory, and business model topics
- Disclosure & Regular Reporting
- Draft, review, and manage the submission schedule for public disclosures on the DART system
- Regular disclosures: annual, semi-annual, and quarterly reports, ad-hoc disclosures, and shareholding reports
- Major management updates and business events
- Support shareholder meetings and board operations (agendas, minutes, shareholder notices)
- Maintain message consistency across IR websites, press releases, and official communication channels
- IPO Execution Support (Tech-based Listing)
- Prepare materials and manage communications for technology evaluations (TCB and evaluation agencies)
- Support preparation of IPO documents, including preliminary review applications, registration statements, and investment prospectuses
- Collaborate with underwriters, legal, accounting, and PR partners to build data rooms, manage Q&A, and respond to due diligence
- Management & Financial Communication
- Communicate key KPIs and K-IFRS-based financial indicators to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor peers, competitors, and market/regulatory trends to provide insights to management
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of experience in IR, disclosure, or IPO-related roles (experience in listed companies, securities firms, accounting firms, or advisory firms preferred)
- Practical experience with DART disclosures or equivalent compliance capabilities
- Basic understanding of K-IFRS (able to interpret financial statements and notes, and prepare management reports)
- Fluent in English (required): capable of preparing English IR materials and leading investor/analyst meetings in English
- Strong analytical writing, data-driven communication, and project management skills for cross-functional collaboration
Preferred:
- Experience participating in technology-based KOSDAQ IPO projects (collaboration with underwriters, issuers, legal/accounting advisors)
- Understanding of AI, digital health, or biotech industries, and familiarity with technical evaluations
- Background in investment institutions such as securities firms, asset management companies, or as an analyst
