About us:

Mediwhale is a pioneering AI healthcare startup focusing on predicting cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease (CVRM) risks using retinal biomarkers. The eye is the only organ where blood vessels are directly visible without invasive procedures, which is our key to unlocking unprecedented insights into human health.

We need a Product Manager capable of leading and overseeing the development of Mediwhale products in the form of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). We are seeking an experienced Product Manager who can encompass software development, medical device certification, and user requirement management.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan detailed specifications for Mediwhale’s SaMD product
  • Manage product development projects
  • Manage progress in SaMD medical device regulatory approval
  • Research healthcare market users, assess requirements, and analyze competitor products
  • Manage project resources (budget, time, staffing, etc.)
  • Provide support for the smooth progression of the project

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a software product manager
  • Communicate technically with software developers
  • Take a proactive lead on assigned projects
  • Actively engage with sales, medical device certification, and development teams

Preferred:

  • Experience participating in SaMD projects
  • Experience in FDA and MFDS certifications
  • Proficiency in using Github, Jira, and Confluence for work purposes
  • Background in the healthcare market
